This is my 29th year in education.   This year marks my first year in a new role as high school guidance counselor.  My career started   in Spencer, Wisconsin, where I taught for one year. The next six years were spent at North Dickinson and the rest of my time right here at Norway High School.  I am originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and received my bachelor of arts degree in English and secondary education from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.  I also have a master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.   I am going back to school at Concordia University for a master's in counseling. My husband and I moved to the Upper Peninsula twenty-eight years ago to raise our family.  We have three sons: Christopher, Conor and Reid, and one girl named Jordy,  and a new little puppy boy, Happy, who is the cutest addition to our family. When I am not teaching I enjoy reading, swimming, cooking, and spending time with my family. In addition to teaching English 8, 10 & 11, I am also the senior class advisor and the drama club advisor.
